RES is exploring the potential for an energy storage system on land close to the proposed Branxton Substation, between Oldhamstocks and Thorntonloch, East Lothian.
Following our public exhibition in May 2024 where we presented preliminary plans for the Lawfield project, in addition to further detailed design work we are currently assessing next steps for the proposal. As such our projected timelines have been pushed back, while we further consider the design of the site.
